We hear so many people say “if we could only find French wines at reasonable prices” and “even though we’re so close to France, it’s difficult to find a nice bottle of quality French wine”.

All of our wines have been specially chosen to compliment the crêperie and evening bistro menus and all represent outstanding value considering their quality. The wines we import ourselves come from small specialist domains and you won’t see them anywhere else on the Island.

Here we’ve highlighted a few examples from our wine list which are definitely in the ‘must try’ category!

Fizz

Champagne Premier Cru – Jean Baillette-Prudhomme is delicately crisp, enticing and exciting! Just classic elegance. Every bit as good as the big name labels but nowhere near the price.

Grape – 33% Chardonnay, 33% Pinot Noir, 33% Pinot Meunier
Location – Trois Puits, Champagne
175ml Glass – £10.00 / Bottle – £38.00

Crémant de Bourgogne Rose – This seductive blush dry sparkler is every bit a champagne but because it is made outside the region, it can’t be called champagne. In the same price range as an Italian Prosecco but way up in class!

Grape – 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, 10% Gamay
Location – Burgundy
175 ml Glass – £6.50 / Bottle – £23.00

White wine

Sauvignon Blanc – Louis Eschenauer – Smooth with a lovely finish leaves you wanting more. This wine is simply irresistible at it’s price!

Grape – 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Location – Languedoc-Roussillon
175ml £6.00 / 250ml £8.00 / Carafe 500ml £15.00 / Bottle £21.00

Chablis – Domaine Gautheron – Another small and relatively unknown domaine that produces some of the best Chablis in the region. It’s unusual to find such a classy wine at this price level!

Grape – 100% Chardonnay
Location – Chablis, Burgundy. North East of The Loire toward Champagne
Bottle £25.00

Rose wine

Côtes de Provence – Cuvee du Golfe Vignerons de Grimaud –
It’s blush, it’s full of sunshine straight from the Côte D’Azur. Ooh la la! It has such outstanding body that you can eat absolutely anything with it.

Grape – Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah
Location – Port Grimaud, just east of St Tropez
175ml £6.00 / 250ml £8.00 / Carafe 500ml £15.00 / Bottle £22.00

Red wine

Pasquiers Shiraz – Coffee and spice and all things nice! An outstanding red at an outstanding price.

Grape – 90% Syrah, 10% Viogner
Location – South West Languedoc not far from Perpignan, perfect for Moules Perpignan
175ml £6.00 / 250ml £8.00 / Carafe £15.00 / Bottle £21.00
